Clerihan Parish are organising a bus to Knock as part of the Cashel & Emly Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock on this Sunday, August 5. Bus leaves Clerihan at 7.30a.m. from car park in village centre and going directly to Knock. Please contact: Anne O’Donnell, Ballytarsna 052-6122106 or Kathleen Hennessy, Knockeevan, 052-6135163. Names and bus fare (€20) to be handed in as soon as possible.

TIDY TOWNS

Special thanks to the small group of people who generously gave their time to tidying the village. They have cleaned the footpaths and car parks and approach roads and clipped hedges and generally improved our village. We hope that their good example will have an effect on the other small group of people who over a long period of time have defaced and vandalised our Community Hall, our Lotto signs, our car park and anything else that they come across.
