CLUB ‘66’ OUTING

The annual outing of our Club “66” members will be held this Thursday, July 26. The outing this year is to the Mitchelstown area and the bus will leave Tigh Na nDaoine at 10.30am. RECENT DEATHS

Sincere sympathy is extended to Michael Hyland Newcastle and Cahir and other family members on the recent death of his wife Martina whose burial took place in Derrygrath Cemetery last week.

Late Mr Michael Condon- Sincere sympathy also to the wife Chrissie, daughters Josephine, Margo and Eleanor of Michael Condon, Crough whose burial took place following requiem mass in the old cemetery Newcastle on Thursday last.

WELCOME HOME

Welcome home to Fr J.J Fennessy P.P Kilnacarriga who is on a short visit home from America where he is ministering. Fr J.J celebrated Mass in Newcastle on Sunday last.

Car Presentation- The presentation of the car won by Mary Margaret, James and Kathy McGrath in the county board draw will take place in the GAA complex Friday night next, July 27, at 9pm.

ARTS & CRAFTS

For children of school going age and upwards is taking place in Tigh na nDaoine on Wednesday’s from 11am to 12:30pm. Classes are being held by Kiara Heffernan Artist/Teacher. Cost is €5 per class . FASHION RECON WORKSHOP

Learn basic no-sew skills such as creative cutting, weaving and netting to re-invent old garments. Classes ran by Grainne Wilson and are open to all over 12 years of age every Monday in Tigh na nDaoine from 11am to 12:30pm. Cost is €8 per class. Call/text 052 6136686 / 087 0674384 to register.
