Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind would like to thank everyone that attended its fundraising walk in Ballylooby last Sunday.

A great crowd descended on the village from communities around the area, Cahir, Ardfinnan, Clogheen, Clonmel, Fethard and New Inn.

“The sun disappeared but it certainly didn’t dampen peoples spirits and we really appreciate them joining us,” said ICDB Communications Manager Marguerite Tierney.

She said the walk raised more than €750, which will help Irish Guide Dogs to train more puppies to become guide and assistance dogs of the future.
