A small booklet containing all the four main eucharistic prayers is now available in the sacristy for €1.
The sacrament will be celebrated in Kilcash on February 28. A meeting for the children to be confirmed will be held on Monday, October 8, at 7.30pm in Kilsheelan N.S.
Harvest Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (October 6) in Kilsheelan Church at 6.15pm. Nonperishable goods which can be left in the containers provided during Saturday. These will be distributed to local charities by St Vincent De Paul.
A special Mass for Pioneer members in Kilcash church on Friday, October 5.
The Gold Pin will be presented to those with 50 years observing the pledge.
KILLURNEY SPORTS & SOCIAL CLUB
A Toy Sale will take place in the Hall on October 12, from 9.30am to 3pm and on Saturday, October 13, from 2pm to 5pm. New toys at an excellent price. We are having a walk through the Killurney Woods on Sunday, October 7, at 2pm.
Pride of place this week goes to Bill Maher and his team who made no mistake against Dublin in the replayed All Ireland Minor Final. Bill has the honour of being the first Tipperary captain from the Kilsheelan Kilcash Club and as well as his Minor Hurling Medal also secured an All Ireland Minor Football medal in 2011.
The Junior hurling team will contest the South Final against Skeheenarinky in Clonmel next Sunday at 3pm.
The Golden Goal in the All Ireland was in the 16th minute.
AFTERNOON TEA AT LILY’S
If it was not quite like old times at Ballypatrick P.O. on Sunday, September 16, there was quite a buzz about the place as Lily’s siblings, Liam, Edmond, Phil and her daughter Carol were delighted to meet with all who attended this fundraiser for South Tipperary Hospice.
€2,500 was raised.
KPLAN COMMUNITY CENTRE

KPLAN 10K RUN
While last week’s run was a wonderful success, the committee wish to apologise for the mix up in numbers as some runners were handed the same number. This has resulted in some runners being given the incorrect finishing time and the KPLAN committee wish to sincerely apologise to those affected.
