Ballyneale put in a credible performance despite missing a few players but just came up short.
Rosegreen were the better side in the first half and led one nil at the break.
The Ballyneale players turned the tide in the second half, creating numerous chances but failed to convert enough of them. Rosegreen scored a second goal with a well taken free kick.
Ballyneale finally made the breakthrough with Robbie O’Brien finishing from close range.
Rosegreen scored their third goal from the penalty spot with just minutes remaining.
Best for Ballyneale were Darren Mc Carthy, Ger Crowley and Dean Madden.
The team now turn their attentions to the League next Sunday where they play Peak Villa at their home ground at Ballydine.
