Walk on Sunday, December 16, leaving Community Centre at 1.30pm. To welcome us back at 3.45pm will be Santa who will be joined by John Halley, Halley’s Bar, with hot chocolate.
The Christmas tree grown by Danny Butler, Burncourt, was put up last week by Michael Fennessey and the FAS workers. Children of Clogheen school decorated it. Prizes were presented to the winning decoration from each class. Thank you to the County Council, the teachers and all involved.

U10s were at home to Clonmel Town on Sunday. Final score 3-1 with Rovers’ goal from Colum Ahearne. U14s were away to Clonmel Celtic B. Cian Murphy scored a hat trick, Shane Crosse also got on the score sheet in a 4-0 victory. The Juniors were at home to Donohill in the League. Sean Flynn opened the scoring. Warren O’Brien increased the lead but Donohill pulled one back from the penalty spot. Darren Hannigan restored our two goal lead and two second half goals from Martin Grant and a further goal from Warren O’Brien saw Rovers run out 6-1 winners.
