Christmas street lighting and the tree at The Cross were switched on last Saturday night. A huge crowd turned out to witness the occasion. Fr. Quirke PP blessed the lights, which were turned on by Santa Claus, who met the children and accepted their letters. Red bows were placed on the Xmas tree in remembrance of those who could not with us this year. Bows are still available at a nominal fee.
