The U6s and U8s took to the training pitch on Saturday morning will great enthusiasm. Lots of old faces (but so much more grown up since last season) and lots of new faces with shiny new helmets. Also, a lot of very proud parents delighted to see their little stars eager to train and begin the journey to wearing the blue and gold of their beloved Boherlahan. The U10s began their year with great determination to show that they were up for whatever challenges 2013 set them with a football blitz in Thurles Sarsfields pitch taking on Aherlow, Drom, and Moyne. They were great games and if this performance was anything to go by, the blue and gold of Boherlahan Dualla will shine for many a year to come.

U12s and U14s took to training at 11am with great numbers although a few of our older U14s had gone to the Ragg for U14 mid training. Good luck to the ones who travelled and to the ones who stayed behind your time will come soon. The U16s were up next at 12pm but not such great numbers, well done to those who made it and for those who were unavailable this week it would be great to see you back next Saturday.

On a more serious note if you missed registration last Tuesday night Mick and Esther will be around most Saturday mornings and you can get forms from them. U8s have their first football blitz on Saturday next, players and mentors will be notified by text.
