Our club had a very busy weekend with the U8s and U10s taking part in a Blitz last Saturday morning hosted by the Cahir camogie club.T he girls played Cahir and Ballybacon. The U12s played Moyle Rovers in the next round of their championship game on Saturday last. The U14s are in a quarter final on Tuesday, April 30, against Ballingarry in Ballylooby at 7pm. Brian Borus Ladies Football Club are hosting a Fashion Show in St. Paul’s Community Centre, Clogheen, on Thursday, May 9, at 8.30pm. Boutiques involved include Hickey’s of Fermoy, Carma (Fermoy), The Doll’s House, Mister Mister, The Wardrobe, Off the Rails, Claire’s Accessories, Style Lounge (Mitchelstown), Peaches Boutique (Kilkenny) and Pageant Boutique (Tipp Town). Wine and food will be served on the night and there will be half time entertainment. It promises to be a great night! The u16s played Arravale Rovers in the replay of the County C semi-final last Sunday in Clogheen. This time the girls made no mistakes and won comprehensively on a scoreline of 6-7 to 2-5.
