Cahir School’s Speech and Drama Success

Ciara Donovan was awarded a medal for her high achievement at Grade Four Speech and Drama
At a presentation ceremony held recently in Cahir House Hotel, students of The Lynch School of Speech and Drama were awarded certificates and medals by The Leinster School of Music and Drama having achieved honours in the examination categories of Speech and Drama, Solo Acting, Effective Communication and Public Speaking.

At a presentation ceremony held recently in Cahir House Hotel, students of The Lynch School of Speech and Drama were awarded certificates and medals by The Leinster School of Music and Drama having achieved honours in the examination categories of Speech and Drama, Solo Acting, Effective Communication and Public Speaking.

The students gave a recital of poetry, mime, solo acting, speech and drama from their exam repertoire.

The students were Kate Hyland, Kate McKenna, Shane Ahearne, Robyn Halpin, Hazel Moran, Emily Kerins, Michael Ahearne, Ami Halpin, Melanie Doherty, Anna Moran, Emily Burke, Aoife Leahy, Katie Halpin, Ciara Donovan and Taylor Byrne. Solo acting student, Jade Kelly-Forbes performed a mime.

Effective Communication students were Sean Leahy, Rachael Downey, Wiktoria Przerywaci and Joanne Chantry. Sarah Mulcahy presented a drama from Dancing at Lughnasa and gave a public speech also. Sarah was awarded a medal and received an Excellence Award 
Nomination for her examination work. Ciara Donovan was awarded a medal for her high achievement at Grade Four Speech and Drama.

The students are to be commended for their great work and wonderful achievement.
