South Tipperary County Council has produced a draft Walking and Cycling Strategy for Carrick-on-Suir and other towns in the county and is seeking the public’s views on proposals.

South Tipperary County Council has produced a draft Walking and Cycling Strategy for Carrick-on-Suir and other towns in the county and is seeking the public’s views on proposals.

The strategy is about providing infrastructure improvements and initiatives to change personal travel behaviour in order to achieve a shift away from car usage to the more sustainable modes of walking and

cycling.

The draft strategy is on display at Carrick-on-Suir Town Hall until May 17 in the Town Hall, Carrick on Suir and on the County Council website www.southtippcoco.ie.

Submissions or observations from interested parties should be made in writing marked “South Tipperary Walking and Cycling Strategy” to Peter Britton, Roads Section, South Tipperary County Council, Clonmel before 5pm on Friday, May 17.
