Halla na Feile

Social Tea Dance in Halla na Feile on Friday, July 12, with dancing from 9pm to 12 midnight. Music is by Catherine & the Images who make a welcome return to the Halla. Teas and sandwiches will be served and admission is €8. We look forward to seeing you and promise you a great night’s dancing.

Dancing Classes

Social Dancing classes on Tuesdays at Halla na Feile continue to be very enjoyable, with dancing from 8.15pm to 11pm. Beginners are invited to come early to get the full benefit of the teaching. Admission €5.

Spectrum Programme

Spectrum is peer support for young people (age 12 to 16) experiencing a significant loss in their lives through a death, separation or divorce in their family. Children and young people can share their feelings, emotions and struggles with others who have similar experiences. They are supported by a trained facilitator. Public Meeting

Mattie McGrath TD will hold a public meeting to offer members of the public an opportunity to air their views on the “Protection of Life” Bill 2013 in the Spafield Centre, Cashel on Friday, July 12, at 8.30pm.

Camogie Club

Cashel Camogie Club thank all who contributed to last weekend’s juvenile church gate collection.

The club sympathises with the Coffey family (Cahir) on the recent loss of Cecilia, beloved wife and mother. The Coffey family were involved with Cashel Camogie Club for a number of years.

Training continues on Wednesdays at 6.30pm in Leahy Park.

Larkspur Park Pitch and Putt

Juvenile Competition: Group 1 Nett Prize won by Seán O’Neill. In Group 2 Alex Marshall took the Nett prize. Michael O’Meara played well to claim a Gross prize. James O’Neill produced his best score this year claiming the Nett prize in Group 3. The course will be closed to all players except competitors from Thursday in advance of the Gents Munster Strokeplay Finals, Sunday, July 14.
