The Rotary Club of Clonmel will hold a flag day on this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 19, 20 and 21 in aid of an AIDS orphanage in Zambia, which is run by Irish Franciscan nun Sr. Marie O’Brien.

The club has supported the work of the orphanage and other projects run by the nuns there for many years and hopes to continue doing so, with the generous support of the people of Clonmel. The club would be grateful for any contributions.

Many thanks are extended to all those who attended the very enjoyable coffee morning at Joe and Margaret O’Sullivan’s home and beautiful garden recently, in aid of Rotary charities and the orphanage. It raised a total of €2,000.
