Congratulations to the girls’ U12 football who made history being the first ever Community Games team to win a South Final. The girls had a super game defeating our neighbours Cashel in Rosegreen on Wednesday last.

Congratulations to the girls’ U12 football who made history being the first ever Community Games team to win a South Final. The girls had a super game defeating our neighbours Cashel in Rosegreen on Wednesday last.

These young ladies have wonderful co-ordination and skill and will be strong contenders in the County Final in Semple Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday, June 3, at 3pm. Those who scored were Ava Hickey 2-2, Ciara Connolly 2-0, Leah Coen 1-0, Lucy Spillane 0-1, Carrie Davey 0-1, and Kaylin O’Donnell 0-1.
