Fourteen students from Cashel Community School, along with their parents and business teachers Ms Gleeson and Ms Reddan, travelled to WIT Waterford on Wednesday October 9th to attend the BSTAI awards ceremony for students who achieved a grade A in their Junior Certifcate Higher level Business Studies exam.

The group of fourteen was one of the largest groups to attend the prestigious awards ceremony and this was a major source of pride and satisfaction for the school. Schools from Waterford, South Tipperary, Kilkenny, Cork and Wexford also attended the ceremony

The awards ceremony was opened by the Dean of the Business Department and he commended the students on their great achievement and spoke about the importance of studying Business and the opportunities that it brings.

Each student received a certificate recognising their achievement and Ms. Gleeson accepted a plaque on behalf of the school. A very enjoyable night was concluded with refreshments and the opportunity to meet the Kerry Footballer Colm Cooper.
