The Carrick-on-Suir based charity Becky’s Beat has sent a message of thanks to all who raised funds for the cause by cycling in the 12km Kelly Spin, which was part Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford.

Hundreds of cyclists, including many from the Carrick-on-Suir area, took part in the fundraising family cycle around the environs of Dungarvan on Saturday, August 25.

Becky’s Beat, which raises awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest in school children and adolescents and highlights the need for life saving defibrillators, also ran a raffle at the event, which was very generously supported. The charity thanked everyone who supported the raffle.
