A cheque for €40,000 was recently handed over to the Hospice Movement on behalf of the people of South Tipperary (see photo below).

The presentation of the cheque took place at Hotel Minella, Clonmel when members of the Hospice Support Group and the Hospice Movement gathered there.

The money was raised at a number of fundraising events held over the past 12 months and is another indication of people’s generosity, particularly given the financial difficulties being experienced by many at this time.

The Hospice Movement is grateful to all those who organised fundraising events in the area.

It also extends a special word of thanks to Breda Ryan, Clonmel Hospice Support Group, who co-ordinated the fundraising in South Tipperary.
