Ken and Ronnie sharpen their knives in celebrity chef battle

Two well-known local artistic men, Ronnie Fitzgerald, artistic director of the South Tipperary Arts Centre and Ken Horne, musician extraordinaire will lock horns and sharpen their knives when they battle for the title of Celebrity Chef in Cluain Restaurant, Nelson Street, Clonmel on Saturday, November 26th at 8pm.

Already through to the next round is Danny Carroll, following a mouth-watering battle with George Barry. Impromptu music on the night was provided by Derek Ryan and friends and was highly enjoyed. It is expected a similar musical event will accompany Ken and Ronnie during their round, when they’ll be joined by their various musical friends. You never know who might drop in.

This event is organised by Cluain Training Centre and the Rotary Club of Clonmel and is in aid of the eradication of polio. Tickets are priced very moderately at €30 for a sumptuous 4 course meal. Bring your own wine or beverage. Those attending will vote for the winning chef.
