Volunteers transform St John the Baptist cemetery

Now that the work is almost completed a most sincere thanks is extended to Paddy Downey, and his team from Cashel Tidy Towns and the many volunteers who have laboured so willingly on Monday and Wednesday evenings over the last couple of months to transform the adjoining cemetery from being rundown to its present most presentable condition.

The transformation which has taken place in the cemetery is remarkable, thanks to the extraordinary effort exhibited by all participants.

Thanks to all who contributed materials and made donations for the work.

A special thanks to Margaret O’Toole who supplied tea and scones to the workers following each evenings exertions.
