A night of music and craic is planned for Clarke’s Bar (The Princess) in Upper Irishtown, Clonmel to remember Tommy Doolan.
Tommy, from Loughtally, died on December 22.
The event takes place on Friday night, March 7, with music by Carrick Bróg.
Tommy’s friends and neighbours will gather to remember with affection the many great nights of music they enjoyed when he played and sang.
Tommy was a familiar figure in Marlfield and Clonmel and his musical talents, with his accordion and organ, were much in demand.
Everyone is welcome to join in this tribute and the organisers look forward to meeting old friends, raising a glass and singing the many favourites they remember fondly. The night starts at 9pm, the craic will be mighty and it will go on ‘till late.
