Brewery Lane Theatre will hosting another folk club evening of vibrant in the backroom of the theatre this Thursday, October 3.
The informal folk session will feature musicians, singers and raconteurs from Carrick-on-Suir, Piltown, Faugheen, Windgap and beyond.
Performers will include Panie Bartley, Dave Cooney, Marietta O’Keeffe, Paddy Walsh, Breege Phelan, Pete MacGowan, Helen Walsh, Jane McLoughlin, Seamus Meade, Tony Fitzgerald and Helen Fitzgerald.
Everyone attending the folk club is encouraged to join in by performing a song or giving a recitation.
The session begins at 8.15pm, tickets cost €5 and are available at the door.

Day Care Centre
Carrick on Suir Day Care Centre will have a church gate collection in Ballyneale, Grangemockler and Faugheen this weekend, October 5 and 6.
A memorial to the 1,100 Waterford men and women, who died in the First World War, including many with Carrick-on-Suir and Clonmel connections, will be unveiled at Castle Street, Dungarvan this Sunday, October 6 at 3pm.
All are welcome to attend.
Carrick-on-Suir Town Council will vote on the town’s new Development Plan for the next five years at their next meeting on Monday, October. 14.
The Council’s elected members took part in a workshop at Carrick-on-Suir Town Hall on Monday (September 23) to discuss the draft development plan.
Town Manager Pat Slattery informed councillors at Carrick Town Council’s September meeting it was too late to introduce new amendments to the draft Development Plan.
