Carrick’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade - Entries still being accepted

Carrick-on-Suir’s St Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is still accepting entrants for the pagaent and has issued an appeal for more volunteers to help out at the event on Monday, March 17.

The Committee is in the final stages of planning the parade, which it hopes to kick off at 2.30pm on St Patrick’s Day with participants assembling at the start line by 2pm.

If you are interested in taking part in the parade, it’s not to late to text the name of your group to David Dunne on (086) 3476317.

Fun and colour are the themes of the parade and the organisers urge entrants to be funny and as colourful as possible. Road diversions will be in place from 1.30pm on St Patrick’s Day to facilitate the parade, which will start at the Fair Green and pass through New St., Main St., Sean Kelly Square and Kickham St.
