Clogheen News

The death occurred recently of Ned Looby, Castlegrace, Clogheen, after an illness. Ned was a frequent visitor to Clogheen and had a quiet friendly word for all he met.

His remains were removed from Costigan’s funeral home, Cahir, to Duhill church last Sunday and following requiem mass on Monday he was laid to rest in the local cemetery.

We extend our sympathies to his sister Mary, nephews, nieces and all his extended family. May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
Deepest Sympathies
Deepest sympathies are extended to Brendan Walsh (Brendan’s Bar) and his family on the recent sudden death of his brother Richard, which occurred at his home in Artane, Dublin. Richard was a detective superintendent with the Gardai. He was predeceased by his wife Mary. To his daughters, son, brothers, grandchildren and his extended family we offer our sympathies. May he rest in peace.
