U12 (A) Hurling County Champs: Belated congrats to Kickhams U12 (A) hurlers who had a fantastic victory over Moycarkey Borris in the County Final recently, a victory that was made even more significant by the fact that the same team/panel had already won the football equivalent a few weeks earlier. This win and the performance of the (B) team who lost narrowly to Burgess in the county semifinal as well as the heroics of our other two U12 teams who reached west semi final stages, must surely augur very well for the future. Well done to all concerned.
Our U10 panel took part in a County Blitz on Saturday in the Ragg and performed with strength to win all their group matches. Well done girls! Training continues every Friday 6pm to 7pm for all age groups.
Sympathy: The Camogie Club would like to offer their sympathies to the Power family and especially to Trish and Mary who have girls playing with us and also to Kevin McCarthy, Club Chairman, on their recent bereavement.

Grouped V Callan (won 2-0), Ballingarry (won 7-1) and St Mary’s (won 2-0) we qualified for the semi final V Mullinahone. The strength of Brian Marnane and Darragh Hogan along with the powerful Thomas Fogarty and Ben Currivan kept everything under control in the backs.
