International rugby cap for Cashel’s Kerri Ann

Kerrie Ann Craddock, youngest daughter of Mick and Breda Craddock, Racecourse, Cashel, has made her international Irish rugby debut.

Only last week Kerrie Ann was called up to the Irish Ladies Senior Rugby Squad and on Friday night, in Ashbourne, Co Meath, got her first cap in the record breaking 59-0 win over Scotland in the opening game of Ireland’s Womens Six Nations title defence.

The London based PE teacher plays her club rugby with Saracens Ladies and also wears the No1 jersey with the Irish Exiles Ladies. In a interview with London’s Irish Post newspaper before the game she said she was really excited at being given the opportunity to play for her country.
