Congratulations to Killusty National School who won the tidiest school in the Fethard Electoral Area.

Cllr Jimmy O’Brien, Cathaoirleach South Tipperary County Council, presented their award to school principal, Mrs Frances Harrington.

Mrs Harrington started teaching in Killusty on July 1, 1975, replacing Mrs Flood, a total of 38 years teaching. She became principal in October 2002 when Mr Danny Kane retired and will now retire herself in December. We congratulate her on her long year’s service to the children of Killusty and wish her well in her retirement.
