Our senior hurlers were beaten in our first round of the county league on Sunday last by Borrisoleigh.
Scoil na Tríonóide Naofa Doon are playing in the All Ireland Camogie in Birr on Saturday 8th at 1.30pm. We hope they will be successful and wish all the Cappawhite and Eire Og girls the very best.
Membership now due. Adult players €50, u21 players €40, minor players €20, Bord na nOg €10. Ordinary membership €30. West club Championship Season tickets available. Contact anyone on club committee

Daffodil Day 
Daffodil day takes place on March 28 and boxes are in all the shops in the village, Day-care, Ozanam House and it is such a good cause people can’t pass them by.

Sale On
From next week on there’s a sale on all clothing in Ozanam House, lots of jumpers, slacks, frock, blazers, shoes etc and bric-a-brac, so call any Tuesday. On Tuesday, February 25, The St. Vincent de Paul shop will also be open from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

New Baby
Congratulations to James and Orla Whyte, now living in England, who are the proud parents of a baby girl they named Kayleigh. Health and happiness to parents and baby from their many friends.

To Nunci O’Dwyer, c/o Nora McGrath, The Square and to all the O’Dwyer family, Clerihan, on the death of their cousin Marie O’Neill, Caprattin and London, who was interred during the week in the U.K.
Sympathy to Jerry Creedon, wife Marie and family, on the death last week of Jerry’s brother Harry, Bishopstown, Cork, who was interred last Monday. May Jesus have mercy on their souls.
