Wally Ryan wins Cashel’s best garden for 2013

Cashel Tidy Towns committee held their Annual Garden Competition Prize giving recently.

Chairman Paddy Downey congratulated all those who took part and paid special tribute to Wally Ryan of John St who was the Overall Winner for 2013. The Tidy Towns Garden Competition is a significant part of the TT activities each year and results in fierce but friendly contests in the various categories.

Mr Downey also thanked all those who took part in Tidy Towns activity in Cashel during the year and said that he looked forward with confidence to resuming the work in 2014. In 2013, he was disappointed that while the town was praised this was not reflected in the points awarded.
