Curran is new Tipp hurling captain
The new Tipperary senior hurling captain is Paul Curran from Mullinahone. He takes over from fellow clubman Eoin Kelly who led the side to All Ireland glory in 2010. Thirty year old Curran is a primary school teacher at St Mary’s NS, Irishtown, Clonmel
The new vice-captain is fellow All Star Padraic Maher from Thurles Sarsfields.
