Ken McGrath to present Shane Gleeson awards
The 5th Annual Shane Gleeson awards night is taking place this Saturday night, February 11 at Dooceys Bar in Ballymacarbry at 9pm. These awards commemorate the memory of an outstanding young sportsman who in his short time amongst us left us with many outstanding memories.
The awards for Hurling, Football and Soccer, three sports at which Shane excelled have a total of 39 nominees for 2011 and the special guest this year is Waterford All Star Hurler Ken McGrath.
Ken is just back from a much publicised skiing trip and has a special place in his heart for All Waterford G.A.A. followers.
