Tipp Association in Dublin helps students

The Tipperary Association in Dublin has awarded bursaries to some of the county’s most promising young GAA stars who are studying in third level education. The bursary of €500 each will help the students pay towards their educational costs.

Among those to receive the funding are Tipp senior hurlerS Seamus Callanan from Drom and Inch and Padraic Maher from Thurles Sarsfields and u-21 footballer Aldo Matassa from Clonmel Commercials.

Association president Jarlath Daly said the Dublin Tipps were delighted to be able to help the students in this way.

The money was raised through a raffle at the association’s annual dinner in Dublin
