John Leahy from Fethard and Brendan Walsh from Ardfinnan were members of the Qatar squad who reached the "A" Football Final in the Asian Gaelic Games which were held in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Recently unfortunatley the lads team lost out to the Singapore Gaelic Lions in the Final pic George Hatchell

Two Tipperary GAA players have been involved in games a long way from home.

John Leahy from Fethard and Brendan Walsh from Ardfinnan were members of the Qatar squad who reached the “A” Football Final in the Asian Gaelic Games which were held in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

Unfortunatley the lads team lost out to the Singapore Gaelic Lions in the Final.
