Tipperary lady footballers lose in Cavan

Tipperary lady footballers made the long journey to Cavan on Sunday to play the home county in the national league but retuirned empty-handed after losing 1-9 to 1-5. The Tipp girls played well despite the 8.30am start that morning but lost concentration following a dispute goal for Cavan but battled bravely to the end. The Tipp goal came from Caitrona Walsh.

Tipperary’s next game is against Fermanagh on Sunday next February 19 in Templemore with a 2 o clock start.
