Cashel Rugby Club hope to consolidate their place at the top of Division 2B of the All Ireland League when they host Connemara at Spafield on Saturday. It has been an incredible first season for the Tipperary club in senior rugby and they now sit six points clear at the top following a 100% record to date.

In their most recent matches they showed they are just as formidable on the road as in their own Cashel fortress, winning away in Armagh and Sligo.

Galway visitors Connemara will offer a different threat but Cashel are determined to remain at the top of the league.

After Saturday their remaining matches in the league are away to Barnhall, home to Sunday’s Well, away to Wanderers and home to Rainey OB in their final game.
