Clonmel side into national cup quarter finals

Clonmel Celtic will fly the Tipperary flag in the quarter finals of the FAI Junior Cup. They were the only side out of four to get through the last sixteen on Sunday. The Clonmel side beat Dublin visitors Trinity Corinthians 3-1 at home.

South Tipperary teams have difficult tasks in the last sixteen of the FAI Junior Cup this weekend as they bid to make the quarter finals. All three South Tipperary District League teams and Carrick United from the Waterford League face top-ranked Dublin opposition.
