A joint meeting of South and North Tipperary County Councils will take place on Friday, April 9 to discuss the future of Tipperary Institute.
The special meeting between the two councils will take place at the Horse & Jockey.

South Tipperary County Council Chairman Liam Ahearn told Monday' s meeting of South Tipp County Council that the future of the VECs would also be on the agenda.

The chairman said he would see if a proposal by Cllr. Marie Murphy that the future of South Tipperary General Hospital should also be on the agenda could be accommodated.
