Taoiseach Brian Cowen was taken to task by a member of Tipperary Town Council for not concentrating on the town regarding the provision of new jobs.
Cllr.Billy Bourke told the Febuary meeting of the council that he was annoyed by the Taoiseach's response to a question about jobs for Tipperary when he visited the town recently. The Taoiseach mentioned Clonmel and not Tipperary.

"I was disappointed with what the Taoiseach said.He said the IDA should focus on Clonmel ,that goes against the grain," said Cllr.Bourke.

Cllr.Bourke said the Taoiseach should also concentrate on Tipperary town.
