Bud Ahern was a great bus man and friend to us all and a proud Tipperary man.
The sad passing of Bud who was everyone's friend caused shock and sorrow in the community.

Bud worked for Matt Kavanagh and Son Buses on the Limerick Road now relocated to Rosanna Road for many years.

Bud will be remembered for the good work he did on the buses through the years. He drove the bus to the bingo, the Tipperary to Clonmel service and Rockwell College. He was a great friend to his co-workers, his employers and his passengers.

We have lots of memories of him in Kavanagh's, and may his work in life never be forgotten and the kindness he showed his passengers and workmates. He loved a chat with us all.

There was only one "Bud" and there will never be another like him and he will never be forgotten.

Our hearts go out to his family and especially his wife Breda who travelled with him through work and life.

Thank you Bud for being so kind to us all down the years, and may you be rewarded now for your kind deeds in life.

Rest in peace,

Our friend Bud

Shaun Manning and friends.
