Irish hopes dashed as Les Bleus hang on for a draw

It was a case of Irish hearts were broken in Paris on Sunday afternoon.

A brave and courageous first half display by the Irish gifted them a 17-6 lead heading into the break, but France fought back in the second half to draw 17-17, eluding Ireland of their first win over the French since 2000.

Former Ireland and Leinster player, Girvan Dempsey, says it was a brilliant game to watch, but crushing that Ireland didn’t come away with a win.
