The Tipperary Dance residency at the Excel Centre, is calling on emerging dance artists to participate in the new round of the TRY scheme (Tipperary Dance Yard) offering two residences this Spring.
“The TRY scheme provides free studio space for a week and an opportunity to share your research in public. It’s a space to try out your ideas, get started in a studio and seed the basis of a new project,” explained Excel resident dancer Alexandre Iseli.
The TRY scheme supports emerging artists, dancers coming out of training, or a dancer working with companies and starting to develop his/her own processes It also includes free mentoring sessions by Iseli-Chiodi Dance Company choreographers and the two residences on offer take place in May June 2014.
