Marie Hickey(Right) of Bridal Hair by Marie, was rewarded for her creative hair designs and her one off masterpieces by taking the title of Bridal Hairstylist of the Year 2013 at this year’s WeddingsOnline.ie Awards.
This year the coveted WeddingsOnline.ie Awards were held in the super stylish settings of Clontarf Castle, on Monday February 18th where the top wedding suppliers in the country were recognised for their success, dedication and the quality of their amazing work within the wedding industry.
With 34 hard fought categories having the winners announced on the night, in a sensational ceremony following a gala dinner at Clontarf Castle there was much friendly competition between guests representing the country’s finest wedding businesses and services.
Over 28,000 brides and grooms nationwide voted for their top suppliers and venues in a wide range of categories, which were then judged by a panel of expert industry specialists, with decisions based on quality of work and a real wedding experience.
Judges this year were: David Heneghan from CX Index, Mark Richardson & Associates from Irish Mystery Shopping, Tara Fay from Xena Productions and Alan Berg, Education Guru for Wedding Wire in the US.
“The annual WeddingsOnline.ie Awards have been enormously important in recognising the successes, dedication and extremely high levels of quality and service given by the Irish wedding industry,” said Peter Bryans, MD of WeddingsOnline.ie Ltd., speaking after the awards ceremony.
“The standards keep improving year on year. From bouquets to bridal hair, music to makeup, castles to cakes, the many award-winning wedding suppliers throughout the Irish wedding industry can be extremely proud of their achievements.”
“I would like to thank everyone who voted for me in the initial stages of the competition” said Marie of Bridal Hair by Marie, speaking after the awards “and to all the brides who helped me in completing my submission for the judging stage. I am thrilled to be honoured for my bridal work which I take great pride in.”
