Cashel Arts Festival will mark its eleventh year when events take place this November.
‘Alone It Stands’, currently on a tour of Ireland, is one of the headline acts this year. Staged in Brú Ború this play recounts in hilarious form the epic victory of Munster over the All Blacks, with six actors playing 62 different roles! Tickets on-line www.cashelartsfest.com.
In the Heritage Centre during the festival ‘Create Café’ will host workshops on a wide range of media, daily for every age group.
Author John Boyne is this year’s reader in the library. Huge interest has already been expressed in the Festival Choir which had 60 members last year. Choral workshops culminate in a performance at the Festival Finale Concert. YouthReach members are joining in this year and all young people are welcome! The concert will include performance by the acclaimed Four-in-a-Bar and the winners of The Sister Rosario Cup and Billy D’arcy Cups at the Soaring Voices Competition. The Food and Craft Fair will provide free family entertainment and showcase the work of craft and food providers.
