Abbott, one of Ireland’s largest multinational companies with 14 facilities in seven counties, including a manufacturing facility in Clonmel, has published its first citizenship report in Ireland.
Katherine Pickus, Divisional Vice President, Global Citizenship and Policy at Abbott, travelled to Ireland to launch the report which highlights the company’s commitment to its customers, employees, environment and communities.
Abbott, which employs nearly 4,000 people in Ireland, makes a significant contribution to the local and national economy from a social and economic perspective. Abbott has invested approximately €500 million in its operations in Ireland since 2005. Last year Abbott spent more than €450 million in Ireland on payroll, services and materials.
