Different view of Clonmel's town centre offered by Night Lights Art and Design Trail

The second edition of the Night Lights Art and Design trail will invest landmark buildings and shopfronts in Clonmel's town centre with projected images featuring the best in Digital Arts and Design.

The trail, which is part of Design Fest Clonmel, runs from 6-9pm on this Saturday night November 5th.

It includes Dónal Ó Céilleachair's short film Amergin, Deirdre Feeney’s Waiting for Rewind glass installation and selected artists from the Switch Project.

Along the way families and friends can discover quirky moving images in unexpected locations such as the Main Guard, the Town Hall lobby, Hearn's Hotel, the Scots church and Channon's Forge.

People might also stop at Professor’s Lonsdale’s lab, a mini maker's fair, to find out more about science, art, and technology in this unusual entertaining and educational experience that people of all ages can enjoy.

Pick up a map at the Main Guard between 6-9pm and join the trail for an exciting new night time experience, which will make you look at Clonmel with completely different eyes.

Wrap up appropriately for the weather. Warm drinks will be served at the trail's end.

Other featured artists Include Christine Caplice Grinde, Tom Horak, Sarah Buckius, Max Hattler, Josef Bares, Lyn Mather and Brigid Teehan, Jim O’Neill, David Theobald, Maurice Caplice and Paul Kelly and Make-Create-Innovate.
