Carrick-on-Suir drama group to stage "Drama at Inish"

Brewery Lane Drama Group will stage Lennox Robinson’s play "Drama at Inish" at Brewery Lane Theatre in Carrick-on-Suir from Saturday, November 19 to Saturday, November 26.

Roseanne Glascott is directing the play, which boasts a cast of 12 actors.

"Drama at Inish" was first staged in the Abbey Theatre in 1933 and has a flavour of the early days of the State when acting troupes brought drama to the people.

The cast includes: Colm Power, Eugene O'Keefe, Catherine Whelan, Maria Clancy, Caolán Deehy-Power, Bríd Flood, Niall Bourke, Margaret St.John, Kevin Power,Sheena Raggett, Anne Hickey and Cathal Phelan.

The play commences at 8.15pm each night.

Tickets cost €15 and refreshments will be provided at the interval in the Tea Rooms.
