Man appears in court charged with Clonmel burglary and car theft offences 

Jayden Norris will appear before Clonmel District Court on Monday.

A Clonmel man has appeared before a district court charged with burgling two houses, attempting two burgle two others and stealing a car in Clonmel on Tuesday. 

Jayden Norris of No. 7 Salisbury Mews, Marlfield appeared before Judge Terence Finn at Carrick-on-Suir District Court yesterday (Thursday). 

He is charged with burgling a house at Brook Crescent, Old Bridge, Clonmel, unlawfully taking a car at Brook Crescent, burgling a house at Raheen Court, Clonmel and attempting to burgle two neighbouring houses at Mandeville Place, Wellington St., Clonmel. All the offences are alleged to have been committed on Tuesday, December 5. 

Defence solicitor Aidan Leahy said his client was not making an application for bail. Judge Finn remanded Norris in custody to appear before Clonmel District Court next Monday, December 11.
