Despite the cold weather, Tipperary celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in style with colourful parades across the county.
It was a wonderful celebration of the national holiday.

Clonmel had its usual colourful and imaginative parade, led by Clonmel Rotary Club president Brendan Nyhan as Grand Marshall, who was joined in a vintage car by Rotary stalwart Con Moroney; Mayor Catherine Carey and driven by Michael Lavin.
The parade included Banna Chluain Meala, a great range of young dancers, sporting clubs, imaginative floats and of course Donal Trump, who featured at many parades.
Martin Veale made a memorable final appearance in the Clonmel parade.
Organisers will be delighted that the parades went ahead on St. Patrick’s day itself, despite the clash with the bug rugby game, as the snow arrived less than twenty four hours later.
