The committee of the South Tipperary Hospice Movement is looking forward to its annual Mid Summer Lunch/Garden Party at Hotel Minella, Clonmel on Thursday June 14.
The South Tipperary Hospice Movement, which has been serving the community of South Tipperary and West Waterford for 28 years, is holding its annual Mid Summer Lunch/Garden Party at Hotel Minella, Clonmel at 1pm on Thursday June 14.
This event raises much-needed funds for the Hospice Movement, and it's hoped it will be well supported once more.
The Hospice Movement's clinical nurse specialists, together with GPs and Public Health Nurses, continue to provide care for people with specialist palliative care needs in the community.
As well as the relief of symptoms they offer emotional support to families. The service is available seven days a week and every day of the year, with an on-call service at night for those in their care.
This is the service that so many people are supporting when they donate, fundraise and attend events in aid of the South Tipperary Hospice Movement, and for this they are so grateful.
Legacies are also a very important revenue stream, and anyone who is making a will is encouraged to include a provision for the Hospice Movement.
As well as expressing gratitude to everyone who has supported the organisation over the years, the Movement says the clearest expression of that appreciation is to continue to provide a service worthy of such goodwill and support to the community.
