Co. Tipperary shop sells winning Euromillions ticket

Ladrigan's Store in Cahir

A lucky customer of a Cahir grocery store won more than €90,000 in last night's EuroMillions draw.

The winning EuroMillions ticket was purchased at Ladrigan's XL Store at Abbey Street in Cahir.

A member of staff at Ladrigan's said there was a lot of speculation in the town this morning about the identity of the owner of the winning ticket.

The €90,000 winner matched 5 numbers and 1 lucky star in the draw – leaving them just one number away from a share of the €162 million jackpot.

This isn't the first time that Ladrigan's has sold a winning EuroMillions lottery ticket. In June, 2013, the store sold a ticket that won its purchaser €500,000 in the international lottery.
