Place4u Invitation

Phase 1 of the Place4U development at Gladstone Street, has been completed. On 22nd August it is proposed to host an open morning for the older people of Clonmel by way of introducing them to the café. You are all very welcome to drop in between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm for a cup of tea/coffee and a chat and to view the wonderful transformation of the “Nuns Old Chapel” into “The Café”

From then on we are open for business every morning from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. We look forward to seeing you all. All are welcome.

Fr. Colm Charity Cycle

The Charity Cycle, which started from Ss. Peter & Paul’s on Saturday, attracted cyclists from many different areas and places, and was a fitting tribute to the memory of Fr. Colm O’Brien, who contributed so much to Clonmel during his time here. As stated, all proceeds from this event will go to the three parishes that were closest to Fr. Colm’s heart, Ss. Peter & Paul’s Clonmel, St. Pauls, Lisduggan and the Holy Cross Church, Tramore.

Sincere thanks to Fr. Colm’s family and friends, whose idea it was to organise such an event, and to all others whose support and sponsorship made the cycle such an outstanding success.
